
We have accommodation for 27 residents
All our rooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard in keeping with the character of the home. Residents and their families are encouraged to make any additions to individualise and personalise their rooms with items such as photographs, small pieces of furniture and so on. All rooms have TV points. Telephones and satellite TV can be installed at the residents’ request. Each room has fitted wardrobes with a lockable safe. Specialised beds are installed as required. Call systems are installed in all bedrooms and toilets which ensure that assistance is available at all times.
18 en-suite rooms
We have 18 en-suite rooms, all other rooms have a wash basin and a toilet very close by. Commodes are available upon request. Rooms are located on the ground and first floors, which is serviced by a passenger lift.
We have 2 Parker baths which makes it more comfortable for residents who have difficulty getting in and out of a normal bath. A shower room is also available.
Garden access
Eight of our ground floor en-suite rooms have doors opening out to the garden.
We have an enclosed mature garden to the rear of the home with plenty of seating, shelter and features for our residents and their visitors to enjoy.
Sensory garden area
We have also created a sensory garden area. A lovely addition to this, which was the idea of late resident Olive Telford’s family, is a water feature which was wonderful light and bright conservatory type lounge and a further lounge with a donated in 2011 by her family and friends..
Lounge and dining room
The main lounge and dining room has patio doors to the garden.

Reminiscing area
We also have a reminiscing area, with pictures and posters of past times.
Safe & Secure
The home is very secure with large railings surrounding the front of the house. A car park is available for visitors.
