On Saturday 26th May we were blessed with a beautifully sunny afternoon for our annual Table Top Sale. Some tables were run by volunteers at the home, and others were purchased by people who had their own goods to sell.
The bunting, to celebrate HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee, caught the eye as it fluttered in the sometimes over zealous breeze.
The wonderful tea and cake stall had lots of home made goodies to enjoy.
Summer music from the new sound system drew in passers by to spend their hard earned cash on the stalls, have a “cuppa and a cake” or buy raffle tickets from “our man with the book in the middle” Tony.
A great afternoon was had by all, and a good sum of money was raised for the residents of the home.
Thank you to all those who set it all up, made cakes, served drinks, helped on the stalls, spent their money and cleared up at the end of the afternoon.
